GW EA Chances?
Currently at 80's school sitting at a 3.5. Wondering what chances are at getting in/deferred/dinged for GW EA. Any help would be much appreciated.

60-70% chance. Write a good statement. I think I may even be lowballing on chances at GW here.Anonymous User wrote:Currently at 80's school sitting at a 3.5. Wondering what chances are at getting in/deferred/dinged for GW EA. Any help would be much appreciated.
FWIW, if you're IP, you're in for sure.

Re: GW EA Chances?
what if your only looking at a 3.2 on a 3.0 scale 80-90?
EA? probably not?
Regular? probably not or a small chance?

Thanks for the feedback. Going to ask for recs this week and get cracking on my statement this weekend. Also just curious - I went to a top 30 school for undergrad, and am LGBT (pretty evident from my statement/resume). Will these factors affect the process at all?

Re: GW EA Chances?
Your rank is what matters, your GPA does not, can moderators put up a notice or something for 1Ls.
They might care about you being LBGT ever so slightly. Your undergrad will not figure in. Its pretty much your grades, I don't think recommendations or personal statement really even play into the process for GW. Probably different when your talking about the YHS range where transfer outcomes are much less predictable.
