Hey guys, trying to figure out transfer options and any help will be appreciated.
TTTT Florida School, 3.55 GPA, top 4% in class, and CALI'ed Legal Writing. Was thinking about other Florida Schools, NY and DC, but unsure of how realistic my chances are.

Miami
GW
Georgetown -I know long shot
Cardozo
Fordham
Brooklyn

T4 transfers are always the most unpredictable. If the t4 you attend is Florida Coastal, transferring anywhere decent will be an uphill battle (since it's in the same group of really terrible reputation law schools as Cooley). I think the best advice anyone can give you is to keep grinding on those grades, apply broadly, and see what happens. Best of luck.

It is not Florida Coastal, one of the South Florida Schools. Thats what I was thinking thought, so I was just going to apply broad and see what happens. Is an EA app to Georgetown recommended though to have a slight shot at the T14? Thanks for the input!

I don't see why you wouldn't apply EA to GULC. Definitely blanket the t14 if your grades are similar after your 1L year is up. I am not originally from Florida, but my family has moved here, so I decided to attend law school here. I am ok working in Florida, but I have 2 brothers who live in New York, so Moving up that way seems like something I would definitely consider if I have the option. I've been told that I should try and get to UF if I want to stay in Florida, otherwise it doesn't matter as much where I go. Essentially, I just want to give myself the best opportunity I can.
