Waste of $75 or worth a shot?
Well, I killed my first semester grades. 3.9 GPA (top 2%) (Damn B+ LRW) in a school ranked in the 50's.
Do I have any chance of getting into Chicago ED or is it a waste of my money?

Is your school in Chicago? The answer is probably not, but it won't hurt you to apply since there seems to be some indication that they want to take more transfers this year.Anonymous User wrote:Well, I killed my first semester grades. 3.9 GPA (top 2%) (Damn B+ LRW) in a school ranked in the 50's.

I would say you have a shot but remember U of C is binding if you get accepted. If you repeat your performance, you will have a solid shot at C/N if you prefer to be in NY or maybe Stanford and definitely Berkley if you prefer the west coast.
