Top 30% at TTTT
Where can I transfer to? No geographic preference. Is American, Brooklyn, and GWU (noticed T4 @ 30% on yahoo) feasible? I want to go as high as I can up the ranks.

What, if anything, had indicated to you that your job prospects would be better as a transfer at Brooklyn or American than staying at your current school?

Getting jobs as a 3L and a better reputation overall. It's nonetheless better than my TTTT in every way. I'd rather have a small chance than no chance. If you're not going to answer the question, don't waste your time.

Well, OP, if you are not new to these boards you know that it would be widely viewed as extremely foolish to pay sticker at a school like Brooklyn or American. They both offer high tuition, poor job prospects for the majority of graduates, and are in cities with a high cost of living. So what would make you think anyone here is going to tell you it's a good idea to transfer there and pay full freight just because it is ranked higher than your school. If you want to transfer to the highest USNWR school you can, go for it, but just have a plan to pay for food and shelter after law school, because USNWR ranking points and "reputation" don't pay for that stuff.

I'm not asking whether it's a good idea to transfer or not. I know they both have high COL and poor job prospects, but it's nonetheless better than my current school. Ranking and reputation will at least give me a fighting chance at working as an attorney. I haven't said money is an issue, so I just wanted some anecdotal advice on transferring.

If money is not an issue then why not apply to all of them and go to the highest ranked school you get into.Anonymous User wrote:I'm not asking whether it's a good idea to transfer or not.
