Any insight into Vandy transfer process? Forum

I've researched -- and, maybe I'm just missing it -- but does anyone have any idea of what ranking/class percentile grouping one may need as a minimum to transfer into Vandy from a t20-30 school?

I know Vandy takes a small number of transfers, but maybe someone who has insight or someone who has actually navigated the Vandy transfer process can shed some light.

They have a mandatory interview, regardless of whether or not they're going to accept you (sort of a barrier to entry to make sure you're actually interested). That might off-set the fact that the transfer class is smaller if you're looking to gauge your likelihood of being able to transfer there. With that said, I'd bet the majority of their transfers are from UTK and applied to Vandy first time around.

Seems like a waste to transfer from a T20-30 to Vandy unless you are from the area with ties.
