Brooklyn/Cardozo PT to Fordham?

Post by tink » Fri Oct 19, 2012 3:12 pm

Hey!
I'm a PT 1L at Brooklyn/Cardozo, and I'm not receiving any scholarship money.
I thought I was going to work full-time throughout law school, but things have changed.
I'm switching to FT starting next semester and I'll have a total of 27 credits for this year.

I'm definitely interested in transferring, but NYU and Columbia both require a minimum of 28 credits to transfer.

I looked at Fordham and I would be eligible to transfer with 27 credits. (I'm guessing it's because they also have a PT program.)

Is it worth transferring from Brooklyn/Cardozo to Fordham?

Take a 1 credit summer class at Brooklyn and you'll be eligible to transfer to NYU/Columbia. Georgetown and GW also don't care about credits. Going from Brooklyn/Dozo to Fordham isn't worth it.
