EASIER TO TRANSFER FROM SOUTHWESTERN OR WHITTIER???
Hey all,
So I got accepted into Whittier (T4) with a $27,500 merit scholarship, and Southwestern (T3) with no scholarship. I would have to relocate to attend Whittier, so I am estimating about $15,000 of that going to housing. My main priority is transferring out to a T1 or T2. My good friend just got accepted into Pepperdine after placing in the top 10% at Whittier, so I have some hope for that school. I am extremely dedicated and am confident I can place in the top 10% at either school. My question is, keeping in mind that transferring is my main priority, do I take the scholarship despite half of it going to relocation costs, or pay sticker at Southwestern?
Any advice would be appreciated...Thanks.

Do not attend a school you wouldn't be comfortable graduating from.
Everyone in your 1L class wants to be in the top 10%, and 90% wont be.
That being said, take as much scholarship money as you can get.

I agree 100%. Everyone works their ass off in law school...i didn't meet any slackers in my whole class. Im currently at a T2 in norcal and looking to transfer back to socal, hopefully to pepperdine/loyola etc.
Even with busting my ass i got top 30%, but I thought i would do much higher.
I would say go to the best school you can get into...you can't count on getting top 10% and transferring
