Minor Typo in PS to H
Is this a total disaster?
Typo is toward end of PS, it says "Further, If admitted..." (the "I" in "if" should not be capitalized)... I read this over like 97 times but just didn't catch it. Would they ding me because of this? I'm otherwise competitive (T20, top 1-2 percent).

To the extent that PS' have an effect on admissions, you will be fine. Especially with the number whores at H.
ETA: To answer your question specifically, no, they will not ding you solely because of that.

This.
One of my statements to Harvard had a typo as well, but I was still accepted.

It's fine, because in most cases that's a big "if".

Last transfer cycle I applied to my top choice CCN school with a typo that said "attainting" (which is apparently a word) instead of "attaining." Currently attending that school.
