Okay, well, I also got an email from them saying they received my update about my nefarious candle and alcohol incident.

Re: NYU Transfers
This is my exact situation, right down to not realizing they don't like the CAS transcripts. My UPS with 1L transcripts arrived today and I'm assuming my undergrad transcripts are getting there today as well (snail mail from North Jerz, sent on Tuesday). Hopefully I'll be complete today or tomorrow and we aren't at a disadvantage.Certiorari wrote:I'm still waiting for my application to go complete. I applied the last week of June. I just barely sent the transcripts they needed a couple of days ago (I had no idea they couldn't use the CAS ones), but when I talked with them, they said they would still review the application before those got there, as long as they had fresh ones before I started.
Also-- acceptances don't get so much as an email or phone call???? That can drive you up a wall.

To be fair, I got a phone call the next business day after I was able to log in to the admitted students' site.forestgirl wrote:

Re: NYU Transfers
Was able to log into the admitted students' site, and right after that, got a call from NYU. It's official; I'm in! Pretty excited about the opportunity to be in NYC.
Good luck to those still waiting. Seems like decisions from NYU are kind of trickling rather than happening in big batches.

Pretty sure man. Try to log onto admitted students. That should be the final proof.mileslibertatis wrote:Did we determine that everyone who got Tuition Deposit Received box is definitely an admit?

Don't worry if you can't log in. I couldn't access it until the day after my decision letter was sent (this was several days after the tuition box appeared).PinkCow wrote:Pretty sure man. Unlike UVA, I do not think they lurk here to suss out our preferences (joking), and I think they have no idea we are on to their system (not joking). In my instance, had I not known about the status change or the ASW trick, the phone call would have reached me before I had gotten home to see the package.nadopretz wrote: Same. I have a feeling I'm screwed for today. Probably won't have any movement.

Tuition box yesterday. Decision letter sent this morning. Call about an hour ago.
I will withdraw as soon as I know Harvard has received my deposit. I've withdrawn from elsewhere. Better safe than sorry.
Good luck all!

For those in the 3x update, 7/12 under review crew:oscarpic wrote:Status JUST changed to UR 7/12, third change in UR status here--but no tuition box--what're the tea leaves saying? Any insight?
I caved in and called to try and get a read on my status since I need to give Gtown an answer by tomorrow. In response to me telling them the above stats, the woman I spoke to replied "they are probably reading your application as we speak. You could well get a decision by the end of the day, and if not, then definately Friday or very early next week at the absolute latest"...for whatever that's worth...I know everyone else is going crazy too...basically same answer from Penn as well.

Oh boy - I just went under review 7/12 too. That is the second U/R. My first U/R was 7/2. Gdizz - thanks for putting in the call and letting us know, though there is officially no chance I'll get any work done between now and the end of tomorrow!gdizz01 wrote:For those in the 3x update, 7/12 under review crew:oscarpic wrote:Status JUST changed to UR 7/12, third change in UR status here--but no tuition box--what're the tea leaves saying? P.S. - TransferPotential - Congratulations on your admission to NYU and Harvard. I definitely understand waiting to make sure Harvard gets your deposit.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
