Question re: Targeted Rec for Harvard Forum

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. Has anyone had experience transferring to Harvard using a targeted letter of recommendation that may have made a difference? If so, any advice on what would be good to include in a targeted letter or knowledge on what Harvard likes to see? I'm asking because I've read posts about how Stanford particularly likes targeted letters and that they can make a big difference if done right. Thanks!

Anyone on this? I'm submitting this tomorrow and would appreciate advice from anyone who has had success with targeted recs in general.

It's pretty hard to give advice re: the subjective preferences of the HLS admissions committee. I'm sure whatever you have is fine.

Ha, fair enough. I just feel like I'm constantly surprised at what some of the posters on this site seem to know that I don't.
