Obviously, as you mentioned, you have got to disclose. However, I do not see a one time public intox charge as a huge deal or hindrance. Do you have anything else on your record that would make that charge appear more serious?

I doubt it will make a difference... What is that? A $50 dollar fine? Apply everywhere in the T14.

Think the fact that you're ranked #1 shows that you can't be spending that much time wandering around the streets drunk, and so I really doubt they're going to care. I guarantee some of the T14s would claw and bite for the chance to get a rank 1 student from a T1 school, which usually goes to HYS or CCN.

Won't affect you at all. Just disclose, and don't go any unnecessary detail about it. I had a PI right before I applied to schools and it didn't matter.

If I were adcomm I'd be even more likely to admit you. A #1 ranked student who likes to party? A rarity in the law school world.

haha, well, i'll let you all know how it goes in a couple months...p.s. stay tuned for my soon to debut mixtape post "Gunnerz Paradize pt. 1," in which i teach 0Ls that doing well depends mainly on the contents of your Ipod.
