Tier 4 chances out?
I am in the top 1/3 of my class and my school curves to a 2.5. I would like to try and get closer to my home in North Alabama, and I really just want to work in the south.
So my question is what would my chances be at getting into Alabama, Samford, Ole Miss, Memphis? Maybe a couple others but I really want Alabama as the tuition is so low. Any input would be great.
Thanks

No one can be sure but maybe if any of those schools are T3 to low T2, you might have a shot.Tigerfan22001 wrote:I am in the top 1/3 of my class and my school curves to a 2.5. I would like to try and get closer to my home in North Alabama, and I really just want to work in the south.

I know, right? Its amazing how low they curve many of these T3/T4 schools. And the shame is that many of these schools condition scholarships on something like "keep up a 2.5" and the kid thinks that essentially amounts to "don't fail out, and you keep scholarship", totally unaware of how horrible the curve is.superhands wrote:Really, 2.5!?!

I'm at a T2 with a 2.7 curve. I think that outside of the T50 this is way too common.kaiser wrote:I know, right? Its amazing how low they curve many of these T3/T4 schools.
