Transfer from U Wisconsin to Northwestern- advice
I did really well my first semester at WI, and I am considering transferring to NW. I eventually want to practice in Chicago. I currently have a decent (about 1/2 tuition) scholarship from UW. Since I'm near the top of my class, is it even worth transferring, or should I just try to squeeze more money out of UW? Any advice is appreciated.

How close to the top? If you're top 10% or better yet, higher than that, you should have a good chance at big law Chicago anyway. If you are, it might be better to keep that scholly. That said, apply to Northwestern no matter what. If you get in, they may increase your scholarship, and if not, you have the chance to go to NU.
