How do transfers fare in regard to judicial externships and (ultimately) Federal Clerkships (in comparison to to other students who have been there since their 1L) (Assume the school is GULC or Columbia).

Worse in the short-term, but if you try to clerk as an alumnus 1-2 years out it is probably about the same as your stats would have given you had you been a 1L at your transfer school.
