GW Transfer Chances? Is it Worth it?
Top 15-20% at Maryland/Mason/American. Rank isn't official yet, but assuming similarity to last year's distribution, this is where I will fall. Sitting on a 15k scholly, so lower T1 is still expensive/not a reasonable value proposition. Any chance at a GW transfer, assuming similar performance this spring? Would it be worth forfeiting 15k here to pay sticker at GW? Career Goals: Employment. Preferably DC/NY. Thanks, dudes.

I think you can get into GW with your GPA. Professors I know at GW Law always tell me that transferring in is a lot easier than as a 0L. 15K a year isn't that much but at the same time no one's gonna advocate paying sticker at GW. I would personally transfer if I could b/c 15k isn't that much in the overall scheme of things.BEAST_mode wrote:Top 15-20% at Maryland/Mason/American.
