Part-Time Transferring

Post by VTOrange19 » Wed Jan 11, 2012 12:08 am

Can part-time students transfer too? I know they can change from part-time to full-time at their current institution, but can they transfer to another school? I just see on transfer websites that you "must have completed your first year of law school at an accredited law school" in order to be considered. Does this mean "finish one year of law school and we shall see" or "take the 1L classes you would've taken here, and we shall see"?

I would figure they'd take you as part-time because more time at their school means more money coming in? Is this part-time transfer even possible?

Yes. I know a part-time student who transferred to a T6 full-time.

I got into NYU from a PT program. Let me know if you have any questions.
