I doubt it, but that is sheer speculation. I doubt you will find good information on that since it seems to be such a rare sort of situation. Do you mind explaining why you would want to do that?

Sure. I've taken my first set of exams and now I'm on academic probation (below 2.0 at my school). If I don't improve my GPA this semester I will be academically dismissed (school policy). Of course, I want to make the grade and stay but I'd like to also submit some apps just in case. Your thinking I'm not going to get accepted anywhere? Not even a non-aba school for example? Anywhere?

I hate to say it dude, but honestly you should probably just drop out. It sounds like either you're not that interested in the material or you simply don't have the aptitude for it. You may be doing yourself a favor saving that second semester tuition.

To answer your question, I'm cynical enough to think that there is a TTTT out there that will take you, but that doesn't mean you should go there. They'll just take your money and leave you jobless in a pool of debt. Seriously, prospects for this kind of situation are pretty grim.

I am sure you could find at least a non-ABA school that would take you, but I have to agree with the other poster. Unless there is some compelling reason you want a law degree you should probably drop out. In this sort of situation you are unlikely to get a decent job in any event. Good luck.

why would you go to a non aba school?

Lol, I'm not going to drop out b/c I'm on academic probation. 1/2 of my class is on academic probation - seriously. The median is 2.4 and I'm of course below that but not so far below I can't recover. I made the "exact" same grades those friends I sat beside except for in contracts which I totally screwed. "If" I can't recover I'm not going to give up though. I "anticipate" at least recovering some. I'm concerned about whether I could get accepted elsewhere.

It it a necessity that I disclose I have previously attended law school or can I just start over as a 1L at a TTTT? You guys are more or less telling me I'm unlikely to be accepted with a poor GPA so what is there to lose by submitting an app and not disclosing?

Man, I hate to break it to you, but half your class probably should drop out. In an odd sort of way the school is doing you a favor by pushing you out the door, with those sorts of grades from a school in that tier it is going to be very hard for you to get any kind of legal job, let along one that will allow you to repay your loans.

That tier? Since when did top 100 or TT become unworthy? I'm under the impression GPA takes a backseat to class ranking. The question is/was will a TTTT school accept a j.d. candidate who is academically dismissed from a TT?

there was a guy on LSN who was academically dismissed from a t14 and re-applied to a TTTT and was rejected. He had like a 168 LSAT.

Clearly it's a joke to you. For me - not even close. Tennessee is a reputable school (I think). I like it and "hope" to receive my j.d from them. Of course, it isn't Vandy or Ivy League but neither am I. Get in where you fit in bro....

He was able to get picked up somewhere, but he applied to a shitload of places and had a lot of rejects but he got back in.
