OCI

Post by ms2010 » Fri Jul 22, 2011 4:53 pm

Question - if I got a call from a firm to interview that wasn't coming to my old school, but is now coming to my new school, do I now have to turn down the interview? I applied to them before I transferred.

That's definitely something you should ask the particular firm. If they are.comfortable interviewing you before the OCI, then do it. But give them the option.

Ask the firm. Well, first notify them that you're transferring (presumably to a better school, which should make them like you more), and while you're notifying them, ask how that affects the interview scheduling.

So if I've asked the firm and they still want me to come in... am I good to go?

+1. This happened to me and the firm said they still wanted to interview me. Saved me a bid I could use on a different firm in the lottery as well.
