Okay to transfer even though i already bid and accepted LR? Forum

Okay to transfer even though i already bid and accepted LR?

my acceptance came late.
i already entered my bids for OCI and accepted LR invitation. now i want to transfer. am i screwing everyone?
how is everyone else doing it?

If you went into it with good faith you should be okay to transfer since you got a late acceptance. It's not like you could've said no to LR and not done OCI b/c of the off chance of transferring.

I wouldn't worry about it. Depending on how many students normally transfer from your school, your LR might build in a few extra slots for probable transfers.

I apologetically pulled out of LR earlier today because of a transfer, and the editor was perfectly nice about it and wished me luck.

As for OCI, I imagine someone else will be happy to take your interviews!

No reason to be sorry about LR. Most transfers generally have LR in their original school.
