There's a guy at the court I'm currently interning at who transfered to Columbia last year. I'm going to grill him tomorrow. OCI stuff is a huge priority for me, so I'll get the scoop on that.

Anyone know what the deal is with Columbia Law housing? Is it a good option? What kind of apartments do they have?

Has anyone else had trouble accessing AdmitNet? I paid my deposit this morning, but still can't get on.

Yup. They must manually have to let you in or something. I wouldn't worry about it.

Any updates on AdmitNet? I paid my deposit last night and cannot access it.

Did everyone else receive an email from Career Services today? What about the bidding deadline? The email says not to stress about it so I assume we do not have to bid by tomorrow?

Congrats to everyone admitted and to those still waiting.

I spoke to someone today. She told me to call in the morning if AdmitNet isn't working by then (it's still not for me).

Apparently the July 15 deadline is for non-transfer students. They don't run the lottery until after transfers are able to bid.

Hey folks, good chance I'll be here, barring an acceptance by Harvard. Anyone interested in living together? Manhattan is expensive, need to team up TLS style to bring that shiz down.

I may be interested. I'm interested in hearing what kind of housing Columbia has, but if that doesn't work out I'd be down for getting an apt with other transfer(s).

When are y'all planning on getting to New York? I should be there around Aug 2.

anyone looking for a roommate? i haven't been able to log in to the housing application yet (i just paid my deposit last night) so i'm not sure if it's cheaper to go with a two bed than a studio. but, if anyone thinks they might want a roommate, let's talk. i'm a 23 year old female, fine with a male or female roommate as long as you're cool :)

Hey everyone- also just got the email from columbia yesterday and I'm pretty excited. Still deciding whether or not to transfer, though. Has anyone else heard back from NYU? I haven't but am interested to hear what the decision is. Is it an obvious no-brainer to take Columbia over NYU if admitted? At NYU there is at least the chance to do the law review write-on...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
