Advice requested: Stay at T-35 or go to UChi.

Generally: #4 in the class, LR, professor connections at a T-35 vs. University of Chicago. (Waiting on S and Y)

Financial considerations: With money I have saved up for LS...~$0 debt coming out of current school, ~$100k out of University of Chicago

Goals: Appellate Clerkship, Academia, but also wouldn't mind MARKET-SHATTERING BONUSES.

Geographic preferences: I hate cold weather.

Advice is appreciated.

You probably have a better chance at a CoA clerkship if you stay at your current school, maintain rank, connections, make editor on LR etc. You probably also have at least an equal chance of of getting a good 2L summer job if you stay.

I wouldn't do it, but that's also why I didn't bother to apply for Chicago.
More serious about an appellate clerkship than anything else.
