Duke Transfers
Got the good news on Monday! Anyone else hear from them yet? Also, does anyone know where most law students (2Ls in particular) live?

Congrats! I've been "submitted for review" for over two weeks now. How long did it take for you? Did your status change before you got the decision?

1. Under two weeks;DeSimone wrote:Congrats! I've been "submitted for review" for over two weeks now. How long did it take for you? Did your status change before you got the decision?
2. I'm almost positive Duke will be conducting interviews (phone or on campus) for applicants in whom they are interested due to the few slots available, large c/o 2013, and number of qualified applicants. I don't think the status checker changed before the invitation to interview email arrived.

Re: Duke Transfers
I'm still "incomplete application" as of 6/17. Which is odd, because All of mine are checked off. Doesnt surprise me, I did make a campus visit.

Agreed. I had an interview last week - I'm eagerly awaiting a decision; hopefully in the affirmative! Congrats on your admission and gl to everyone applying.
If you'd like, PM me for the names of some apartment buildings.

I have not received a request for an interview. I'm a long plane flight from Duke. Should I assume this is a ding?Lava6000 wrote:Agreed. I had an interview last week - I'm eagerly awaiting a decision; hopefully in the affirmative! Congrats on your admission and gl to everyone applying.

Re: Duke Transfers
I wouldn't assume a ding. My impressions were that Duke expects to conduct all transfer interviews via telephone. Good luck!uzpakalis wrote:I have not received a request for an interview. "decision made; watch for e-mail"
guess that's my ding. just so people know, the e-mail is taking forever to come in, too.
