Transfer from T3 to University of San Deigo, Maybe Loyola
I am in the top 1/3 percentage of a T3 and am curious as to my chances of transferring to USD or Loyola.

I transferred to Loyola from Southwestern with top 20 percent grades. If you are outside of the top 30 percent, I would say your chances are slim.

Thanks. What about LOR's? It appears that they are not needed. Should I still get a couple anyways?Danteshek wrote:I transferred to Loyola from Southwestern with top 20 percent grades. If you are outside of the top 30 percent, I would say your chances are slim.

LORs are required. Do your research before posting.mandamus1983 wrote:Thanks. What about LOR's? It appears that they are not needed. Also, "anyways" is not a word.

Whatever. On the website it makes no mention of LORs. And I'm not on here caring about my grammatical and spelling errors. LOL.Danteshek wrote:LORs are required. Actually, OP is right. LORs are not required for Loyola. If I remember correctly, I sent Loyola 1 LOR. Keep in mind that LLS gets about 200 transfer apps for approximately 40 transfer spots. If your grades are borderline, not sending an LOR will probably be fatal to your application.
