What does a standard transfer personal statement look like?

Post by WashULawyer » Mon Jun 13, 2011 3:32 pm

I ma having trouble composing a personal statement that doesn't sound like everyone else's, especially when it comes to a transfer PS. I mean, if we're looking to transfer, haven't we all had the same experience? Should I focus on my 1L? What does a standard PS look like for a transfer student?

Thanks for the help.

I just wrote about why I want to transfer to X school. Go through the schools website and try and come with 3-4 things about each school that would make you want to transfer to that school. Write a paragraph about each one of those things. That is what I did for my PSs. With your stats you should be fine.
