I don't know what the chances are, but I'm wondering why you'd want to transfer? top 15% at GULC, Cornell, or NU is probably pretty safe.

I don't have a huge amount of knowedge on the subject, but YS are probably out, H is in play but it's more of a long shot. It's something that any employer would readily understand. I could easily have taken a leave of absence (and perhaps might have had a slightly higher GPA but chose not to go this rout). I plan to write about it in my PS
