@OP: knew a #1 from a top 50 that got into Yale, so you're probably in great shape.
I knew someone who was no. 1 from a T30 last year who only got NYU...

Wow, thanks. And congrats on all of your success, very inspiring. You seem like a down to earth person too haha :)
I'm just a 0L but I think if you got into H/Y you should go for the incredible doors they open, and the same goes for the other 3 you mentioned since you want to be in the northeast.

For anyone interested, here's my long-winded guide to 1L. I'm sure it's a bit rough, and that there are many gramattical and stylistic mistakes. Unfortunately with my summer employment going on I have a lot less time to polish it than I'm sure people would like, so be forewarned.
