Zeroing in on the target school

Post by CaptainCrunch » Wed Jun 01, 2011 7:55 am

Okay, I think this may be a question that could benefit a lot of people. How do you tailor the PS to a particular school? That is, how do you show that *this* school is right for you? I mean, at the end of the day the biggest motivator for me is a jump in rank and the ability for me to stay in the apartment I'm at. Not particularly persuasive...

Outside of reading the wiki or TLS summary, how can I gain an in-depth picture of my target school and impressive the people reviewing my application?
