Northwestern..
Coming from T18, what rank would you need? No work experience (6 month internship at small firm in UG), want better chances for Chicago market than where I'm at - family and friends all live there. I couldn't find anything specifically anywhere else. Thanks

Re: Northwestern..
My guess would be similar to regular admissions. I had very strong ties to Chicago, and personal reasons for wanting to transfer to NW, but was denied there and accepted at other comparable schools. Just a guess though.
Edit: COMPLETELY misread your question unless I missed an edit. Not sure of rank, I thought you were asking work experience.

Are many students unhappy with job prospects at WashUStL ?
P.S. Top 20% should get you a serious read. Transfer admissions can fluctuate greatly from year-to-year as much depends upon how many spots are available.

Re: Northwestern..
I work as a research assistant for a professor, and most other kids who are doing the same all seem to be thinking of at least throwing apps out. I think most people who have realized the market they want to work in are going to try to transfer (NY/Boston/Cali/Texas), which I'm sure relates to job prospects. I think you've got a shot to go back to these markets if your grades are good from WUSTL, but my measly scholarship wouldn't be enough to keep me from going to NU if I got in. Additionally, the St. Louis firms take more kids from SLU than WUSTL, so there's that as well.CanadianWolf wrote:Are many students unhappy with job prospects at WashUStL ?
