Schools that don't rank
So how do you tell your chances if you don't know your rank? My school provides three ranks: top 10%, top 33.3%, and top 50%. I'm stuck somewhere between top 10% and top 33.3%, much closer to the 10% cutoff, but how do you judge your chances?

Ask some 2Ls/3Ls, broski. My school does the same thing--so I ask around.

You can probably calculate your approximate rank from the cut-offs (ask someone who understands Math/standard deviations). After you get that, look at past transfer threads and see where students in the top 15-ish% at similarly ranked schools got in.LSATfromNC wrote:I take the silence as meaning I am screwed lol.

I'm guessing I'm somewhere around 15-20%. Hopefully the school I'm considering applying to will think I'm at the 15% range, as I don't think 20% will cut it. Guess I will find out.

The school's curve and your gpa would give them a good idea
