Currently at a school between 40 and 50. Top 15% first semester. Feeling pretty good about second but don't have grades yet. Didn't have the LSAT/GPA to even apply to Georgetown, but was my dream law school. Didn't really think ab transferring during the yr--too focused on grades. Assuming I can get a rec at this late date and I stay exactly where I am %-wise, any hope for getting in on a transfer app? Hear they're transfer-friendly, but sounds like the ship may have sailed.
A Book Award and a sweet summer externship, for what it's worth.

I think it's worth the attempt, especially if you can boost to 10%. You definitely picked the right T14 to try to transfer to. I doubt 15% from American will do it, but it's at least worth the shot

App fees are almost always worth it IMO. Transfer acceptances are far less predictable than 0L admission.
