Apply broadly and you have a very good shot at making the jump.

You will get in somewhere. I have a buddy that transferred from Detroit-Mercy to Chicago-Kent. Remember, those schools need to fill all the spots left open by the people who transfer out.

If you're going to transfer, figure out where you want to practice and then apply to every school in that region with better job prospects than your current school.OP wrote: Any suggestions??

This. Trasnferring to move up from a t4-->t2 doesn't make a lot of sense unless the school you transfer to is in the region you want to be in. In other words, the transfer shouldn't be only to move up in terms of the USNews ranking.patrickd139 wrote:If you're going to transfer, figure out where you want to practice and then apply to every school in that region with better job prospects than your current school.OP wrote: Any suggestions??
