George Mason to GW or Georgetown?
I'm PT at George Mason and just inside the top 10%. What do you think my chances of getting into Georgetown or GW PT would be?

Very high. I was 16.6% at Brooklyn Law School and transferred to GULC (also from DC for what it's worth). Originally I was on the waitlist but I looked around this site and found (a) there are different "tiers" of waitlists at GULC (look into it); and (b) if you are on the higher waitlist then you can def get into the PT program. I just played that game and said I'd go PT if necessary then transferred to FT my 3L. Cake.

Just curious how you did at OCI at GULC? How did most transfers do?comstojd wrote:Very high. I was 16.6% at Brooklyn Law School and transferred to GULC (also from DC for what it's worth). Re: George Mason to GW or Georgetown?
dont be so sure...... I think GULC is taking less transfers.
I was top 10% at a t50 and didn't even get waitlisted at GULC. My friend at American was top 10% also and did not get a wl. Got dinged right on the spot. We both applied pt/ft. Also, Ive talked to some other people on TLS that applied last year and was top 10% from schools ranked 50-75 and didn't get into gulc.
with that said... you are in at GW.
