Can anyone with transfer experience tell me what the transfer situation looks like from GMU to these schools? They haven't released rankings yet, but based on data from the last two classes, I am probably sitting at around top 6-9%. I added chicago to the list because I did particularly well in GMU's law and econ class, so I figured it may be worth a shot. I am considering applying ED to chicago because, what the hell, a shot in the dark sometimes hits the mark. Also going to send in an EA to Gtown, and I think that I might have a more reasonable shot there.
I don't really have any compelling reasons for wanting to transfer, other than a better shot at biglaw. (Everyone at GMU seems to want to work for the government, I certainly do not). Also I am not URM. As for UVA, i have heard that they take a good number of their transfers from GMU. Any help and or info is appreciated.
