Transferring to Michigan
We just got our fall grades today and I received all A-'s. My dream school has always been Michigan. I applied ED last cycle and was ultimately rejected. Do I have a chance at transferring from U of Minnesota (my current law school) to Michigan? I understand Spring grades are a component.

Yes, if your grades remain consistent you have an excellent shot at being admitted to Michigan as a transfer. I'm guessing 3.67 puts you around top 10% on a B+ curve so I'd give you a 60-70% chance.

What is your class rank? Looks like your school curves on a B+, so my guess is that you're at around top 20%. You're not an auto admit, but it's probably worth a try if UMich is indeed your dream school.ilovetosleep wrote:We just got our fall grades today and I received all A-'s. Minnesota does not release class rank unless you are applying for an internship or research position that requires it. Thanks for the information guys!DeSimone wrote:What is your class rank? Oh our classes are curved between a 3.0 and 3.3 if that matters.
