Advice for 1L looking to transfer
After receiving my midterm grades I am beginning to think I have a good chance of transferring. If anyone who made a transfer from T4 could provide any advice or goals please let me know.
Thanks : )

At least finish a semester before you start making transferring plans.

Don't get cocky.
Midterms = nothing. Finals = everything.
I sucked big time on my midterms but turned it around and did very well on the final exams. Others performed the other way around and they ended up bottom-50%.
Focus on studying now NOT transferring.

Re: Advice for 1L looking to transfer
As was said, there's not much point in banking it all on a midterm. But coming from a T4, it wouldn't hurt to think about where you want to practice. It'll be very hard to break T14 from a T4, so you're probably going to be limited to regional schools.

Use the midterm grades as motivation to keep your nose to the grindstone. It can be done...

Corrected. This question is posed way too early to even be entertained.studebaker07 wrote:Don't get cocky.

I'm a 1L at a TTTT. In class, I raise my hand all the time and know all the answers. I can tell my classmates are very impressed by me because they always whisper to each other after I speak.
Odds of transferring to HYS?
