I have a very sick family member in California whose condition may need me to consider trying to get back to the Bay Area.
Thoughts on what rank one would need to have a chance at Stanford or Berkeley?
Thanks much!

Re: UChicago to Berkeley/Stanford?
In the past, people on yahoo transferapps indicated that they were able to transfer from MVPB-->CCN with median grades. I think it was typically seen as a 50/50 shot. Obviously, the better your grades, the better off you are. But I would think top 1/3 should be good for Berkeley.ashleigh wrote:I have a very sick family member in California whose condition may need me to consider trying to get back to the Bay Area.

Stanford will be more of a black box since they take so few transfers and have a huge emphasis on softs and other factors besides grades.
