Resume question for transfer student going through OCI

Post by Masternater9 » Thu Aug 05, 2010 12:39 pm

Should I put on my resume that I received a law review invitation from the school I transferred from? Does this matter since I won't actually be on the law review now. (Didn't have the chance to write on at transfer school) Do firms check to see if you actually got an invite?

Yeah I looked at this thread. It seems to be more dealing with how they will show the school they are transferring from rather than specifically dealing with a law review invite. Thanks for your response though. I appreciate it.

Yes, you should include the invite from your old school on your resume. As to the other question, I can't imagine any firm going through the hassle of verifying your invitation. I'm not sure why you would ask this though. Did you never get an invite? If you did, why would it matter whether they verified your invitation?
