Transfer results (bizarre)
Waitlisted at Gtown, Duke. Rejected by UVA. In at Penn.
T50, 5-10%, law review.
This process could not be more stressful or more bizarre.

In my opinion, you got in to the best school on your list! Congrats, and as much as it sucks- it is awesome that you are in at Penn.

Hah...similar results....T40s, top 7%...I got waitlisted at GULC, yet I got accepted to Mich and Penn. I will also be attending Penn in the fall. Anyone have an theories as to why our results ended up this way (not that I'm complaining
)?

I'll also be attending Penn. Look forward to meeting all of you. Maybe we can get a thread together to discuss things like housing, etc.

Re: Transfer results (bizarre)
I feel like i need to call Penn to make sure it wasn't a mistake..... i heard of a story that Boalt accidentally sent out an e-mail to all applicants saying they were admitted a few years ago. Yikes.
But it says "offer of admission" on the Penn status check so I think I'm good to go.

Yes. GULC is taking less transfers because they were overenrolled last year.

Re: Transfer results (bizarre)
i have no authority to back this up, but it wouldn't surprise me if GULC is taking fewer transfers to up some of their US News stats (like prof/student ratio, $$/student, etc.) under the new dean
just random conjecture, though
