I either read or heard the following fwiw:
This guy protested taking finals and also made a video for his torts class, requesting that his videos take the place of him having taken a final. He wrote the dean and each of his professors asking for a substandard pass based upon these videos
Later, he received a kind letter from his torts professor - explaining why he could not do so, and another letter stating that he had failed his first semester courses and was no longer enrolled at the school.
