Advice: Cardozo->NYU?
Long-time lurker, first time poster. Looking for help on my decision:
Approx top 2% at Cardozo + LR + $
Hoping for BigLaw in NYC. Would consider clerking if the opportunity was there but more concerned about employment.
Appreciate any thoughts/advice...

Re: Advice: Cardozo->NYU?
Already took on 100% debt last year for tuition... keeping debt low the rest of the way is a definite plus but not a dealbreaker if the signs overwhelmingly point to leaving
How does the debt affect your advice?

Re: Advice: Cardozo->NYU?
Why don't you call up NYU's career services and ask them? Even better, call admissions and see if they can put you in touch with any students. I have an idea for one other possible contact if you're comfortable contacting strangers - PM me.
Other than that - I have no real experience, but I would assume that the worst that can happen is that NYC employers (who are generally at least somewhat familiar with Cardozo) will look at you as if you were still at Cardozo, and with your stats that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Re: Advice: Cardozo->NYU?
NYU's career services was not very helpful, particularly when I asked for specifics. Wouldn't disclose anything about how many transfers got EIW jobs last year, just said that "historically, transfers are very successful," which is too vague to be helpful.
Is there anyone that transferred to NYU that has an idea how last year's transfer class fared during EIW?
