The Official Chicago Transfer Decision Countdown

Post by traydeuce » Thu Jul 08, 2010 10:48 am

Many of us went to under review yesterday. Transferapps shows July 10th calls last year and July 11th calls in 2008. Last year the 10th was a Friday; the year before that the 11th was. Ergo, calls are probably coming tomorrow.

I hope you get in tray. We just need sloan to get in as well. Although I'd put money on both of you ending up at some HYS. And I base that on absolutely nothing but a feeling.

Neither he nor I are getting into HYS. Unless I made their write-on. And even then, yesterday I heard a horror story about a Rutgers girl who made the Harvard Law Review and got rejected two weeks later. She was first or second in her class. That's Rutgers though.

Stop with the negativity. Plus, you don't go to Rutgers. Where is that rock solid confidence dude? Don't lose yourself during the eleventh hour.

Besides, as long as you don't end up living together at Gtown with you-know-who you'll be money. Haha, although the thought of that still makes me laugh so hard.

I just don't think they admit a ton of t40 people near the 5% cut line.

Oh I'm not talking about you, sloan. I'm talking about the other early Gtown admit I was encouraging Tray to live with. Haha. Think about it . . . .

But seriously, actually, no I have nothing serious to say.

Yes, Men's Wearhouse, I know that. I, however, am near the cutoff. Well, depending on how you define near, it's not like I'm sitting on or next to it.

It really is a shame schools do not require interviews as part of the transfer process...

So can we expect all decisions to come tomorrow (admits & rejects) or just the coveted phone calls?

How about... green gemstone? Or, crabby married Pennsylvanian? Probably the former though.

I can't wait to see who will be joining us at UC in a few months.

Mega do you think us ED admits will be getting some follow up information along with the rest of the transfer class?
