Are the employment prospects for SF/California appreciably better at Duke then at Georgetown? Assuming I'd rather live in DC, would it make sense to choose Duke for the better employment opportunities alone?
Is there really a t14, t10 distinction?

You in at both? Congrats! I'd pick duke because of huge class size but that's just meshmoo597 wrote:Are the employment prospects for SF/California appreciably better at Duke then at Georgetown? I would also go Duke because of the massive class size at GULC, that said it is hard to turn down going to law school a couple blocks from the Supreme Court. Good luck with your decision and congrats if you've been accepted at both!stinger35 wrote:You in at both? Congrats! Edit: I also am not sure there is a huge T10 distinction, I think all of the T14 schools are excellent programs and this board sometimes overestimates the disparity within the T14 (at least this is what I have been told by a practicing attorney) outside of possibly HYS. That's just my two cents though, I think if your preference for living in DC is very very strong, GULC would be a perfectly fine choice. I had a similar decision to make between GULC and Michigan, being from Ohio I went for Michigan but it was still tough to turn down a seat at GULC, I also love DC.
