Best way to notify target about law review?

Post by studebaker07 » Thu Jul 01, 2010 11:41 am

I am not sure if I graded on or won a spot through the write-on competition. If I had to guess, I would say that I wrote-on because I was ranked 27% fall semester and although I had a big jump in my grades from a 2.93 to a 3.10 I doubt it was enough to crack top 10%.

So..... is it best to notify the school with an email, phone call, or updated resume?

Not a very interesting question. Update your resume, attach it to a cover email asking to update your file, and hit send. Though now I'm curious where 2.93 is top 27%.

a 2.93 might place you in the top 35-40% or so from my school if I had to guess....the class high GPA is only a 3.6 and the median was right at a 2.7

I am at a newly-minted T4 with basically a C-curve.

Median at our school is 2.7 too and apparently there are a lot of people around that 2.7 mark but the higher you go, the more the GPA's get spaced out. I thought a 2.93->3.10 would raise me up to at least top 20% but my ranking in terms of absolute numbers only jumped like 8 spots. Very frustrating :?
