where should I apply...top 10-15%, t20 school
My GPA: 3.62
My school's top 10% cutoff: 3.66
I go to a t20 school. Where do I have a legit chance of getting in? Should I blanket t5-10? Is it worth it?
Thanks

Unless you've got all the docs sent out already, aren't you out of time (except for Penn and Mich)?

Yea, aren't the deadlines fast approaching or passed? Why'd you wait so long. You've got good numbers.MrKappus wrote:Unless you've got all the docs sent out already, aren't you out of time (except for Penn and Mich)?

Yep. Well if you can make it work logistically, it's most definitely worth your time to apply. But from what most people on here describe, getting the LOR's, dean certs, undergrad transcripts (if needed), etc. is like herding cats. If you can make it work, you should go for it. Good luck.shmoo597 wrote:I just got my grades last week...and arent most deadlines around july 1?

I have all my LOR's. I applied to GULC early, so I have all of that. I'm just wondering where I should apply! NYU, CLS, chicago, penn...I've already done berkeley. Should I hit up all of these schools? Is it worth a shot?

How can anybody tell you that? It depends entirely on your goals, where you want to go to school, and the value you place on your own time and money.

sory i was confusing cls with nyu. nyu app must be submitted by 7/1, supporting materials by 7/15, i believe.EffMy1L wrote:CLS is 7/15. http://www.law.columbia.edu/jd_applican ... s/transfersanpiero wrote:i think cls is 7/1interalia wrote:columbia/nyu deadline is 7/15, i think you have time if you move

Let me rephrase - where do I have a shot of getting in. I would attend most t10 schools over my current school. I want to know if I would be wasting my time applying to all t5-t10 schools or if its realistic that I would get into at least one of them.convicted wrote:How can anybody tell you that?
