2-3% at T40; but with personal/legit medical reasons (mentioned in my app) for grades and lsat scores substantially dropping in college, and definitely affecting which law school I got into to begin with. I keep hearing that transfers are even more than previously a "numbers game"...but I'm hoping that admissions can overlook some numbers that were the product of extenuating circumstances.
Chances at CCN? HYS? Pointless to even speculate? Thanks

I'm not sure that law schools even look at UGPA or LSAT when you are transferring (only 1L grades). Can anyone verify or disconfirm this?

It won't matter. Your law school success will speak for itself.

My understanding was that college transcripts and LSATs, while not nearly as important as 1L grades, are a factor. And I seem to recall that at least one school--and it may be either Harvard or Yale--indicated it tends to accept only those applicants who would have been competitive applying as a 0L.

I believe Harvard says that, but whether it is true or not is hard to say. Someone more knowledgeable than myself on the transfer process would have a better answer. But keep in mind that adcomms often claim to have policies that they do not practice.JazzyM550 wrote:My understanding was that college transcripts and LSATs, while not nearly as important as 1L grades, are a factor.
