Waiting...what are my chances?

Post by easttowest » Wed Jun 23, 2010 5:46 pm

New to the boards and am quickly getting addicted...T30 school; 3.89 1L GPA which should be top 5% when rankings come out (school doesn't break down the rankings more than that). Applied to Harvard, Penn, Stanford, Boalt, Columbia, NYU, UCLA, USC, UVA, UT. Grades just came out this week so I've just gone complete at a lot of places. Where do I have a shot? Thanks for the advice!

Good shot at all of them. Ironically your lowest might be at USC (incredibly low transfer admits), Stanford & UVA (unless you are in state resident, of course, in which case you'd be good).

As for the rest of them, I am betting you get into 4/7 with Harvard likely. Not going to be too many applicants with better numbers than you.
