Yea let's be real. If it's T7, it's gonna be V.Renzo wrote:And if he fails, I'll make sure it isn't YHSCCNP.dbt wrote:

... You got into a T-14, non-URM, with a 3.7/164?wandc wrote:-Finished 1L at a bottom T14 school.

Not to nitpick, but they won't exactly follow you upon transferring; firms essentially treat you as though you're at the median at your new school-- that seems to be the consensus on here, at least. Your GPA resets when you transfer.dbt wrote:I don't think this is going to happen. Probably need top 1/3 or so to get into CCN from wherever you're at. You may be able to lateral to a comparable school if you're looking for a fresh start, but your grades will follow you for OCI...

That is not the impression I've gotten at all. Firms have to judge you based on something, and they're going to look at your grades and the school you're coming from. I don't think you can fool them so easily.MusicNutMeggie wrote:Not to nitpick, but they won't exactly follow you upon transferring; firms essentially treat you as though you're at the median at your new school-- that seems to be the consensus on here, at least. They definitely don't treat you as median of your new school. It is closer to what dbt said. Generally, it seems that you can double your class rank as a general rule of how firms will treat your grades. For example, if you were top 10% at your old school, you will be as successful as the top 20% of your new school. Obviously this varies depending on the degree of difference between the two schools.dbt wrote:That is not the impression I've gotten at all. I don't disagree in the least. USNWR has been giving pro-B trolls ammo as of late, and that's about it as far as I can tell.dbt wrote:Is it? I always though Berkeley was a great school but that it somehow slipped past MVP without ever having the stats to back it up.
None of the lower T13 are the seventh. They all suck fairly equally.stratocophic wrote:I don't disagree in the least. Wouldn't that make them all the seventh?Desert Fox wrote:None of the lower T13 are the seventh. They all suck fairly equally.stratocophic wrote:I don't disagree in the least. C'mon, Cornell surely sucks more than MVP.Desert Fox wrote:None of the lower T13 are the seventh. They all suck fairly equally.stratocophic wrote:I don't disagree in the least. Its the worst T13 to attend, but before ITE their placement was solid, last year they got killed by no offers. If that year becomes a trend I will conceed the point.Rand M. wrote:C'mon, Cornell surely sucks more than MVP.Desert Fox wrote:None of the lower T13 are the seventh. I think MVPBDN is the most muddled group of six schools until you get out of the Top20 or so.
