Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Transfer App Question

I finished last semester ranked in the top 10 students in my class (top 3% or so) at a T20 and planned on applying to transfer only to the T6. I am not sure what happened this semester (I guess my irrational fears were rational...) but so far after receiving 3/5 grades (only one of three substantive classes), I am almost at the border of the top 10%-top15% mark and could very easily fall lower.

I originally planned on applying only to the T6, but with the 15th deadline for a few schools, should I just go ahead and send Stanford anyways and plan to apply to a few outside of the T-6 (I see that Boalt has a June 15th deadline as well) even though I will likely not know my other two grades until after submitting?

Also, how would I send my resume and applications--based only on last semester's GPA/ranking if this semester's is not yet available or would that seem shady?
