Deciding on Univ. of Baltimore vs FSU
I am currently trying to decide between FSU and UB for law school. UB is alot less expensive, but is not ranked as high as FSU. I know they say not to take into account your willingness to transfer, but regardless of where I go (assuming I do well 1L) I want to transfer. Is there a huge chasm between FSU and UB?

If you are talking top 5% at FSU or top 5% at UB, then yes, there is a VERY large "chasm" b/w the schools for transferring purposes.terp0909 wrote:I am currently trying to decide between FSU and UB for law school. Sorry I should have clarified. I meant in the value of their degree overall, as well as transfer opportunities.

Then it comes down to where you want to work. I mean, an FSU grad is going to pale in comparison to a UB grad in Baltimore and surrounding area.

So FSU is more of a regional school? As of now I'd like to end up in Maryland, So I guess UB is my best bet?

Both are regional schools. If you want to end up Maryland, go to Baltimore. It is both cheaper and in the location you want to end up after school.terp0909 wrote:So FSU is more of a regional school? As of now I'd like to end up in Maryland, So I guess UB is my best bet?
