LOL so much for that idea... I think that GULC has done everything possible in the past two years to make sure I never, ever matriculate there.

Stop it. They love you. They're just being a little passive/aggressive lately in how they express themselves.LOL so much for that idea... I think that GULC has done everything possible in the past two years to make sure I never, ever matriculate there

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Hi everyone, I am new to this message board. I don't know much about transferring law schools and I wasn't thinking about it until I got my grades. I have always wanted to attend GULC but I had just an average LSAT (151). I have a high UGPA, 3.8, at a Jesuit college in the midwest and I also attended a Jesuit high school (thus, the Jesuit connection). I am a part time student at a tier 3 in Boston, I earned a 4.0 and I am number one (#1) in my class out of 190 students. I sent in my application way late, it wasn't received until early July, I just didn't think I had a shot, but when I got my grades, I figured I'd apply and I got my application together very FAST (I spoke with GULC admissions in late June/early July and they told me they were still taking apps). My status currently states under review with a 7/15 date. I was very curious to what others think my chances are of being offered admission? I applied to both full time and part time but I'm thinking if I get in, it will be part time since I am currently a part time student. Thanks and go luck to everyone.

Second, transfer admissions is a huge black box. Throw your name and your application fee out there and see what you get. Your Jesuit background may or may not help. The fact that you're #1 will probably help a lot more. That's a huge positive. Traditional school of thought says applying early is a huge boon, applying late can do you in. But you've already applied, so good luck! Let us know how it all works out.

did ANYONE's status checker actually read 'accepted', or did everyone have to wait for an email?

I don't know what to do. I want GULC, but it says maybe by late August! We've already missed write-on, we'll miss OCI, and probably have to pay partial tuition at my current school.

For next year's applicants- EA deferred, waitlisted today and withdrew. Top 5% and LR at a T2.

I don't care how pathetic it looks, but if there is anyone who intends to withdraw and hasn't done it yet, please please please do!

Northwestern, not Berk -- for the record. You are thinking of Stinger.thexfactor wrote:ok people are getting into berkeley and are getting rejected by GULC. GULC is going to have a really small transfer class this year....

Waitlisted. Said they should have more info by late August. I'm gonna stay on the list, but it looks like it's gonna be George Washington for me.

Late August? That's ridiculous. There is no way I can hack that.

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
is anyone "actually" going to attend GULC?
They basically rejected the kids that they are suppose to take. Everyone that seemed to have gotten an acceptance to GULC also got into a better school.

I don't think they are going to have any problems filling all their seats.thexfactor wrote:is anyone "actually" going to attend GULC?

I plan on going...unless Columbia or NYU comes knocking, which I doubt they will.thexfactor wrote:is anyone "actually" going to attend GULC?
